We do our best to set our pricing at a level which makes sense to smaller organisations with limited budgets. This specifically helps clients who do not already work with more established providers of corporate and enterprise-level video services.

WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO...

  • Location, location, location! With Summer on the way, it would be nice to be closer to the beach. As of June 2018 we're moving EMC HQ to the coastal resort town of Weston-super-Mare, just 30 minutes south of Bristol by train or motorway. (It's also a 20 minute walk from our MD Kyle's front door).
  • We introduce a new service called WMS (Workspace Media Support).  Designed to assist hot-deskers and users of coworking spaces across the region in finishing the job of making their own media. More on this soon.
  • We launch ExpoRadio. An international developers' conference in Bristol was the first client for this innovative service designed to add a new level of engagement for large sector-specific showcases and expos. This creates a pop-up live 'talk radio station' dedicated exclusively to the event, packed with professionally-hosted interviews, discussions and content focused on that event's specific sector, attendees and influencer VIPs. It's designed to engage with that even  t sector's community via the event's official website, all without duplicating keynote sessions and ensures that it reinforces the value of attending future events in person.

  • A new trading name. We've redefined ourselves to better reflect who we are and what we do for our clients. Since early 2017 we've used a trading name "EMC, the Easy Media Company" rather than our company name (Ecomedia Collective cic). You'll find us via EasyMediaCompany.uk as well as EasyMediaCompany.com.

  • We've launch two new services for organisations in the SW UK.  Over the last few months we've introduced a pair of new services for clients who want to take what they do 'beyond the room'. 
    1. EventShareLive (ESL) provides a simple and effective live webcasting solution for conferences, seminars and similar events in the Bristol/Bath regions and across the South West UK.

    2. Inside Voice helps large companies and organisations create regular audio podcasts, either to improve their own internal communications or to engage better with new customers and existing clients.

OUR LITTLE JOKE: "EMC" = EINSTEIN'S THEORY OF SOCIAL MEDIATIVITY

​'EMC' is a handy little abbreviation.Obviously it stands for 'EcoMedia Collective'.  It also works for 'Easy Media Company'. But most usefully, it's also a great reminder for what we help clients unlock within themselves...

...because with our help, 'Everyone's a Media Company' too.

The Ecomedia story began in 1996 when founder Kyle Hannan project-managed the creation of the first community radio station in Nelson Mandela's home district and then went on to deliver the world's first combined Jewish/Muslim internet radio station. Though separated by a decade,  the two projects had many similarities: projects needed to create their own media quickly and authentically, then share it online using popular media platforms - all without their own tech staff or large budgets. 

These experiences set the foundation of the EcoMedia Collective: to give clients a simpler, more effective way to make their own online media, then help them use it to share what they do, better and more widely.

"UK research shows that while most companies know they need to be using Twitter, or Facebook, or YouTube etc, their biggest problem is the lack of time and staff with the right tech skills to make it happen". 

What does this mean?

Quite simply, that whenever you need to make a video for YouTube, create media recordings of your events or conferences for sharing via your own website, generate professionally-voiced promotional slideshows for presentations, or share your seminar with colleagues around the country - or the world - live as it happens, just contact us. We'll bring the equipment, the people and the know-how to make it happen for you. You just get on and do what you do best: we'll do the rest.

Every time a standard-rate client uses our service, it helps another under-resourced but important community project get noticed. That's because we've promised to use up to 50% of our profits to subsidise media-making for positive projects - and that's always a good thing.
